I mostly read this to see if McFadden truly stole The Housemaid plot and I can confirm.

I did like the outcome of this but I didn’t care for the writing. It was jumpy in places and often felt unemotional. I do love books with multiple POVs, though, especially when their timelines coincide, so I appreciated that here. Overall wasn’t my favorite but wasn’t awful.

This was super in interesting! I really liked the three parts and getting POVs from Amber and Daphne. The first part (Amber) felt like Verity-vibes. I loved part 2 (Daphne's POV). Girl had a plan and she executed!! Still don’t think I’m a huge psychological thriller fan but this was entertaining.
