Great book!
Thought provoking and funny at the same time.
Definitely eye opening.

If you ever think that doctors or nurses are paid too much or have an "easy" job read this book than read it again. Things need to change.

I spent the majority of this book laughing while I read. There’s something so familiar about hearing the stories of patient interactions, even if I have never worked in a hospital like the author did.
It’s a popular, and relatively useful, coping mechanism to make light of heavy situations.
I think it takes a lot of courage to walk away from something you’ve dedicated your life to for your well-being. I’m sure the author received frowns and scoffs, but at the end of the day he knew his limits and there’s no good logical reason for pushing yourself past limits especially if they can endanger others or yourself.

In terms of the writing and journal entry layouts:
I thought the quick and brief explanations of a funny or sad situation were a “refreshing” writing style. I thought the author was rather crude in some parts, but that’s just the way he is (those parts still made me laugh).
