The side splitting humor used to get us through the horrifics of modern medicine and the bureaucracy of hospitalizations was thoroughly appreciated.
I want to say it was fiction but you can't make this stuff up

I raced through this book at top speed! I loved it. Honestly, the author has captured hospital life down to a tea. Obviously because he was once a doctor. As I myself am in the health profession I felt that I was easily able to relate to this book and all it entails. Very sad at the end. It’s quite a shame he has to endure such things in the end. It sounds like the medical profession have lost a valuable doctor.
The book is written in a journal style that allows readers to view his life on a regular basis which shows how life revolves around being a doctor. It has some utterly hilarious sections as well as some really sad parts. Overall, it brings together the best and worst of both worlds of medical personnel and makes for a very entertaining read.
Well worth taking a look at.

An important book to read by everyone not in NHS. Very clever humour and easy story telling. Would have liked a bit more depth to some stories. Left me wanting a bit more closure at the end.
