struggling to rate it but i did enjoy it, i can definitely see why sylvia plath is considered a classic. the beautiful prose makes me want to check out her poetry.

shock therapy
parts were horrifying though! honestly the whole
hospital stay
section made me a little upset. i'm very glad i live in 21st century ngl.

Considering the fact that this was written in the 60s it probably shouldn’t have been as racist as it appears nowadays. I really don’t understand the hipe this book gets it wasn’t catching or really interesting. Still not THE worst book I ever read.
