A very rushed conclusion to the Riftwar Legacy series.

Avoid - live in the (admittedly underwhelming) glory of the third book. Complete wet fart of an ending.

Wtf. No answers, just more rubbish questing, with more giant questions. Also, epic loss in this one. Felt like the whole rift war legacy was filler, not really worth reading. So so disappointing after the initial riftwar saga and the empire series :(

Jimmy the Hand is sent to deal with the mysterious 'Crawler' and bring peace to the kingdom again. Or something like that. Perhaps it's because the story itself is rather short or because it used an internal shorthand to refer to other things in previous books (that I haven't read), but I felt I missed out on some of the jumps in the story and didn't quite understand why we got to certain places. I didn't quite follow the reasoning behind the story's realisation of when the Crawler turned from one thing to [spoiler] but there was lots of running around rooftops and other such dagger-waving adventures.
