Kit and two friends won the lottery together and each one of them plans to change something in their lives.
This book follows Kit’ story: She is an intelligent and accomplished engineer, quite risk averse due to the instability of her family during her formative years.

Kit loves her job, the life she built for herself and her found family. She decides to keep working and buys an old house that needs a lot of fixing up.
Everything in her life is going perfectly until she meets a Ben, who is in the town to help his father, who is recovering from an injury, and recruit her to the corporate world.

I really enjoy Kate’s writing, how she includes serious issues on her romances and how her character’s work on themselves. This was a great read excluding the miscommunication bit in the end.

Very enjoyable quick read. A nice series set up to follow young women who are friends navigating serious relationships. This one is about Kit, a research scientist, who meets Ben, an industry recruiter. He wants her to move and she wants to stay despite his lucrative offer. This story is really about how Kit's friends (Zoe and Greer) pull together with her to navigate life's challenges. I really enjoyed this and couldn't wait to read the next one.

I took me several months to get around to finishing this book. It has a fun premise but bogs down.

I loved this story! Ben and Kit are amazing together. I loved the way they met - Ben screws up big time, and he's under so much pressure. But Kit is steadfast and brutally honest.

One of the best things about Clayborn's writing, which really comes out in this book, is that we'll be in a completely normal scene but suddenly there's an innocuous line that is SO HOT.

I've had this series on my radar for a while and finally got around to picking up the first book. I love the premise of three best friends winning the lottery together and seeing how that changed their lives in different ways!

In this first book we get to know Kit, a research scientist who only ever wanted a home to call her own. When Ben comes looking to recruit her to his company she has absolutely no interest but eventually they start hanging out though and feelings develop.

I enjoyed this dual POV slow burn romance but didn't love the miscommunication third act break up and would have liked a bit more spice/chemistry between the two MCs. Good on audio narrated by Will Damron and Carly Robins.
