I feel like this story could’ve used a little more world building. I felt like I was being thrown into the story in the middle and was fighting to play catch up the rest of the way through. For a good chunk of the book I kept thinking “Is this book 2? Did I miss the first half of the story?”

Someone recommended me this book because it ressembled Fourth Wing, which I adore, but So let them Burn is far from it.

The story is not well written. Everything goes so fast we don’t have the time to love the characters nor mourn their deaths. This book could interest people in middle school, but for an adult, you should pass this one.
