Maybe these books need to be read in order and I read it for a book club. I felt like I was missing something when various characters had emotional reactions that didn't make sense based on the limited information given about them. I found out the characters all carry on their relationships from previous books. I also felt the story didn't really move well. Sort of like jumping into the middle of a soap opera that happened to have a murder.

This one had lots of recipes which was fun and the whole concept of everyone being stranded in a blizzard with a killer was interesting.
Super cutesy. Nice relaxing cozy mystery. Tons of recipes.

Very little actually happens story-wise. There wasn't even a real murder! It was "self defense", which is a very disappointing ending for a murder mystery. Bad ending, and it's somehow both too short and much too long. The cops in this town are apparently terrible at their jobs.
