I bloody love a second chance x friends to lovers romance and this one ticked all the boxes. Add in the single dad trope and I was completely sold.

I loved Patrick and Johanna’s story, it was a beautiful rollercoaster of emotions, incredible mental health rep and at the base of it all the purest love.

Ronnie’a writing was great, you could feel how much had gone into this book, she captivated me from page one and I was desperate to know how the story unfolds.

I can’t wait to read more of this series, I can tell I’m going to love it.

Holy cow, I am blown away that this book is Ronnie’s debut! This book is a favorite of my whole year, instantly. The love story she wrote between Patrick and Jo is one of epic proportions! A friends to lovers second chance romance with no third act breakup, I ATE IT UP! The plot was great, the spice was perfectly spicy, and the mental health representation was amazing. It gave me all the feels and I cried hard multiple times. I also love the fact that Jo, the FMC is 33 years old. It’s so nice to truly connect to a character. I wish I had a Patrick of my own he is truly a man of fairytales. I truly cannot recommend this small town romance enough.
Please make sure to read it for yourself when it comes out August 22nd.

OMG this book. I literally raced through this in 48 hours. I loved the chemistry between Johanna and Patrick going back from their childhood friendship to their awkward teenage years and then to their relationship now. The history and heartbreak they shared was so poignant and the anxiety rep throughout was so well written I just had to carry on reading to see their happy ending.
