Lots of editing errors. Lots of repetitious ramblings. Not the best entry in the series.

This was better than the last book as far as things that annoyed me. Although I did dock a star for the author using the term “Latinx.” It’s not just me that finds that term annoying.

Anyway, I liked that some of the characters seemed to mature in this story. The ending definitely left room for sequels which is fine with me.

Wow. What did I just read. These books go from strength to strength in how wild and crazy the story line goes! I remember reading the first and, to be honest, feeling a little nonplussed about this over the top urban fantasy, thinking it was bringing too many elements that didn't flow too well together. However, I persevered, read the second and was blown away, characters feeling more fleshed out and better for it. The third followed in the same vein, bringing even greater threats and crazier powers. Where does one go from here? Well, Jackson Ford doubled down, with the main character having to go without her own powers whilst their siblings are running rampant. All in all, this is a step up in writing and, for me, a great book with my only criticism being some pacing issues. These books are a sh'tload of fun.

YAY the team is back. After a little glitch with Eye, we are back to edge of the seat action and an amazing twist. Hold onto your hats, this is one wild ride.

Always an easy and fast read but I feel like this one and the third one almost had too much action. It was too much going on! Still a good reason - wouldn't suggest reading these back to back.
