Mia did not disappoint me with this one. Archers voice was one of my favorite romances last year and then Travis followed and I fell even more in love with this world, but this one….. this was just really solidified that if Mia writes it I will buy it. I love seeing glimpses of the other couples and learning where they are at in life .Her stories are always so beautiful and heartfelt. I hope to see more with these characters in the future

I wanted to like this book, I really did. But I just could not get on board with a lot of the plot. The characters seemed a little lackluster to me, especially the MMC. There just wasn’t a whole lot of depth to him. The best part of the book was the connection and references to Archer’s Voice, a book by the same author that I LOVED. So all in all, very disappointed in this book but hoping some of her other work is better.

I loved being back in the world where Archer Hale is, sigh.
Gage is perfect. He does everythign that is asked of him. He never steps out of line. He is following in his father's footsteps but knows that in his forever, something is missing. He meets Rory when his friends and he go on a roadtrip that literally goes off the road. He has one amazing night with her that changes him forever, but he is moving to England in two months.
Rory is looking for her birth father, she finds a new clue that sends her to the town Gage lives and sends his carefully laid plans into a tornado. The passion he feels for her wars with the duty he has to his family. As she searches for her father, secrets come out and mysteries are solved.
I honestly thought this was going to go a different way and I am really happy to report that it didn't! They both made me a little angry at times, but Gage and his family duty and arranged marriage situation set me off the most. I don't understand how not going for what you want is ever an option. The fire that these two had from the start was something that needs to be caught with both hands and never let go of. I loved seeing old faces pop up and fun family situations.

Unpopular review of reading as a standalone instead of reading Archers Voice first. Enjoyed this book and the cozy mystery/story it takes you on
