booooooring do you see the slump this put me in?? it took me FORTY TWO days to read. i used to read at least 3 books a week. the only reason i didn’t DNF this was because archers voice was so good and i was holding out hope. no. i should’ve just left it at archers voice, books 2 and 3 were a waste of time especially this one

This one impressed me more than I expected. I have really come to love this small town after reading about the characters that have been part of it. I also love the scenes with the reoccurring characters as well. I would also say that this one also had some amazing found family after getting introduced and know the characters in this one. But these characters were decent and I like who they were individually and then together as well. I like the search they had throughout the book and was a really unique spin for this book. Now I will say I didn’t like how extended the thought process of the two characters thinking they could be possibly related. But I try not to think about it too much because they obviously aren’t but I do think it was brought up too much, especially when they say they wouldn’t care at some points. That’s the biggest reason why the rating was deducted some. But overall I had a good time once we got past that and I really liked the romance/small mystery to this. Super cute and wouldn’t be against having some books for some of these other characters we have gotten to know or I could just be living this world that is making me say that too.

This book has the perfect banter, a dash of mystery, and good spice. I loved seeing Bree and Archer in this book. All of their cameos made me kick my feet. Overall I did love the plot and being back in this universe. I liked both of the main characters but wasn’t really rooting for them. What I didn’t like is the “sibling” aspect. It was a major ick for me. If that was taken out of the book it probably would’ve been a 5 star read for me.
