He adorado a Kylee.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved how the POV changed throughout the story, with the chapters of others in between the chapter of the twins. I found myself laughing and crying with the characters. Well written.

this was pretty fun, i don't particularly like the characters but i do like how kylee is 100% done with everyone at all times, especially with consistently and casually rebuffing nyall every single time. take a hint dude. also vivian being like "i might betray you who knows whatever's convenient for me" and kylie going "yes, best friend material." brysen is whiny and annoying and i just want to sit down with him and be like "please. just stop." plus points for the being gay, but then cancels it out by having horrible taste in men

I just want to know when book two will be released because book one left me with so many questions. Please ignore the fact that it took me a month and fourteen days to finish this. Keep in mind that I was reading a few other books as well, but I never gave up on the story. It was so good. I’m much older than the demographic that this book was written for, but I really enjoyed reading Black Wings Beating. I will be recommending it to fellow bookworms because this story can be enjoyed be readers of all ages in my opinion.

Black Wings Beating by Alex London is the story of twins Brysen and Kylee who take a treacherous journey to capture a rare Ghost Falcon. Despite the fact that Kylee and her family are so close to paying off their late fathers debts (and she wants to leave this falconry business behind), she follows her brother up the mountain to protect him from afar. At first he had no clue she’s doing this. Brysen on the other hand takes this journey to settle his boyfriend Dymian’s his debt to a powerful family called the Tamirs. The journey is treacherous. At first it seems like they will not succeed, but they do. They do so with help from a friend named Nyall and a ghost from their past.

I made it my mission to find a copy of this book at Book Expo. I had a chance to meet the author who was one of the nicest people that I met that weekend. This is the first book that I read by this author, but it won’t be the last. He is a good writer and I cannot wait to see what else is in store for the twins. I’m glad that I took the time to read the book. The story was everything that I thought it would be and more. I am reading this book 4 stars out of five. I will definitely recommend it to every book worm that I know loves fantasy and birds.

I really loved this book it was LGBT without that being the main point there was so much more to the book than that. I loved the characters especially Kylee,Brysen and Nyall I liked the relationship between the siblings Kylee would do absolutely anything to protect Brysen. I really did like how Brysen was determined to go get the ghost eagle to save the one he loved.
SpoilerThat did not work on well since his love interest was a dirty rotten coward that was working with the bad guy of this part of the story
I really liked Nyall he was a really well written character that would do anything for Kylee since he is in love with her even if she is completely oblivious of it. These characters really mesh so well together I am really excited to read more about them. I really loved the plot I liked the whole concept with the falconing thing it was really interesting . So overall I liked this book I will most likely read the sequel soon.
