Hmmm.

Do those kinds of relationships exist in reality, or just in fiction?

The writing and the narration made me really love this one, and I can say looking at the quality of both this book was quite good. But the story itself left me wanting so much more for these characters. Really, it’s just a reminder that not every book is for every reader. I had a friend love this one, and for me I will be passing it on. It kind of reminded me of Ian McEwan’s books Atonement and On Chesil Beach.

I was rockin with this for the first half and then the second half/ ending suckkkked lol

Ugh. So mad I finished this. MC was absolutely insufferable and her mind journey was a slog. I think I was hoping for a redeemable  ending so pushed through. Alas it sucked too.
Positives:  good sense of setting/place
