Jel is finally a knight and charged with the protection of refugees. Fate has other plans as she is thrust into a quest to eliminate an evil necromancer. I really loved this one. Kel is a really relatable character and her change from the First Test to this one is quite satisfying. She is competent and hard working and smart without the aid of magic which is a nice change from the Lionness books.

LOVED this end to the series, but was disappointed that she didn't really have the romance I was rooting for since she was a squire, with Dom. Bummer. Still, they did allude to it, so I guess that's fine. :)
