This is my first ARC and I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you for the opportunity it was amazing.
The moment I realized this was the best work from Giana, my mind was already blown. I have a deep love for this series, but this woman keeps building this world without leaving anyone behind. It’s a series similar but at the same time like no other.
I could talk all day about how this book is incredible but let me tell you what’s about. Even though this story is more complex than it looks, it all revolves into a love that lasts a lifetime. Lila is one of the strongest characters I’ve read. She can survive a million heartbreaks meanwhile she saves the day. While Nova is a big hidden heart but a sexy soul.
Lila was a small little girl when she met the boy next door. That day her life changed, and she learned that family is more important than anything else. Her brother Dane, Jonathon, and she became Los Tres Caballeros and lived through everything with their bond.
Most feelings evolved and the feelings between Nova and Lila absolutely did. But Nova wasn’t ready to let his Flower Child grow. Lila wanted to make sure Nova saw the woman she was and how they were going to be explosive together.
I am Mexican and reading this book did not bother me at all. Sometimes we are classified or diminished, even though throughout this series there was a family already mentioned, this time the story revolved into a new one. Giana took the best of us and used it beautifully. This just makes me love it a little more. I fangirl so many pages I’m almost embarrassed.
The characters were also a different experience because when I thought I already know what to expect from them, they surprised me every time. Also, the development of them was very realistic and made me proud of their little successes.
Favorite Quotes:
“I like flowers because they’re wild and beautiful”. “They are free”.
“A symbol of overcoming obstacles, of rebirth”. “…You’ll always be my Flower Child”. “Que huev*s”.
“…I feel goddamn everything for you”.

Spoiler
I adored it so much, I can't stop telling everyone about it. As I've said before, I wasn't sure when was the exact moment I knew this was the best work I've read from Giana. But I truly stand for it.
This series keeps growing and delivering exciting new things and even though it left me with some doubts, the magic still remains.
Nova is such a big-hearted guy that struggles through life. His best friend was taken from him and that was a huge impact on him. He also struggles with keeping his best friends together and making sure they got a proper and decent life. Which is why he was so insecure of himself, without realizing he was Lila's best choice. But he kept things interesting for both of them.
Meanwhile, Lila is just a badass. She rocks everyone's world. She creates a better perspective of things and also is very brave. She's tough but also very kind and loves with everything she has.
The made a power couple and they spark joy and fire all around. I love them so much. The sexy scenes were breathtaking and they can't be so steamy.

Giana's words are captivating, you feel the world shuts down whenever you are reading her words. But in this case, I felt in a surreal way inside the story because this wasn't only entertaining but also very interesting. She handled pretty well certain situations that I thought they could bother me. This story makes you feel common in some situations that maybe in real life you wouldn't.

Every chance Nova had with Lila, he turned her down because he thought he wasn't enough. I know now that people can influence you in a dark way and that can lead to self-sabotage. I can't tolerate this kind of people but the most important thing is that he had Lila to protect him and to stop the toxic relation he had. Everything about them changed but also they learned their lessons together and fought for their happiness together.

My best advice: Read this book, you won't regret it. But if you haven't met the Fallen Men, please start with Lessons in Corruption. You would adore it if you are into MC Romance because Giana is the QUEEN.

Age Gap | Forbidden Romance | Foster Family | Mc Romance | Slow – Burn Romance | Friends to Lovers | Hate to Love |

Spanish Review.

I skipped through a large portion of book four so that I could get to this one haha. I'm not sure what I was expecting but it wasn't this. I remember seeing snippets of Lila with the girls in the previous books and I was SO curious about her and Nova's story.

So we have Lila and Dane at a young age when the book starts and the Booths move in across the street. Their dad is a known drug dealer and their mom is absent for a large majority of the time, leaving them with him. Their dad ends up killing their mom and after a short stint in foster care, the Booth's can take custody of them. Nova is around Dane's age and has this savior complex, so he does whatever he can to help them have a better life. Even if that means getting in with the fallen.

Over the years, Nova assimilates into the Fallen, and Lila by proxy starts to assimilate with the girls (HR). Around her teen years, Lila notices her feelings have turned romantic toward Nova but one night after she caught him post-hookup, he tells Lila she needs to do whatever she can to get rid of those feelings because he will never reciprocate.

So Lila takes his advice and starts dating this guy, after two years they are engaged and she is working at Eugene's as a bartender. Her fiance is prim and proper and all of the guys in the club give her tons of shit over it. One night he, Nova, and Lila are all at Eugene's, and Lila is ignoring Nova like she has done for the majority of the past two years but he isn't willing to stand for it anymore. The three of them start drinking and her fiance dares her to kiss Nova, she does and it starts something, which ultimately leads to her ending her engagement.

Throughout the book, they are very obviously exclusive but Nova doesn't want to make her his old lady of course until bad shit happens to her. (This is my one con about him) I was annoyed that Lila felt like she had to put herself in danger for the club especially when Nova was slow on the trigger with becoming exclusive but she was close with everyone by that point so I understood it.

Overall, I loved this one!!

Lila & Nova

This was just so chaotic! My emotions are all over the place for many reasons! So many things were happening!

I’ve somehow fallen in the MC trap and is now clearly addicted to the life, I didn’t choose it.. it chose me
