Writing was okay but unfortunately the plot was somewhat predictable. Overall a good read but nothing 20,000 other YA dystopian writers haven't done before.

Well that was good but so predictable. I wasn’t even surprised ... i already guess how the book is going to end up :/.
Very good. Can't wait to read the rest of the series. The religious persecution made me ache for Theo and her people.
I am really intrugued for the next book. The Magic system and the map are cool and enjoyable. My favorite scene is somewhere around page 363 and the love triangle in my reading wasn't over done nor unbearable. All in all the tale was enjoyable
