- Interesting perspective that we don’t see very often
Especially, towards the end when he was speaking about his grandmother’s death and what caused his mother to be in a coma. When he talked about how no one tried to help, "Most people could feel, but didn’t act. They said they sympathized, but easily forgot." It got me thinking. What is the right thing to do in that situation. Everyone, including Yunjae, didn’t do anything. Which is understandable, but is it the right thing to do? There is no right answer, but I’m still wondering. It was also very interesting, seeing Yunjae and Gon’s friendship develop and the dynamic between the two. You have Yunjae’s, a boy who can’t feel emotions (at first) and that has a hard time fitting with the rest of the crowd, and Gon, who feels so much, but tries to hide it behind that tough look. I think that both of them never really thought they fit in, so maybe that’s a part of the reason why they became so close. They understand each other in a way that no one else understands them if that makes sense - I feel like Dora was kind of a random add. She was a kind of love interest, but it just felt random. But, she was nice at least.
Yunjae being "cured" at the end felt weird. As if being neurotypical is a goal to reach or better which I didn’t like.
