A very long-winded play (though during Elizabethan times, they didn't have anything else to do, so I get why they wanted to kill so much time at the theatre) to tell us the story of a cautionary figure.

Decidedly a worthy play to remain in history's drama books and though I recognize its place in history, I am satisfied having read it once.

One of my favorite plays I've ever read. Surprisingly very funny?? I would LOVE to see or design for a production of this.

Once I started with one Dover book, it was hard not to dive in and reread, if not my whole collection, then at least a few of them. I've always been a Marlowe girl, and though Edward II is my favourite there's something that will always be enchanting and unnerving about his Dr. Faustus.
