I enjoyed this book, but I am not head over heels for it like everyone else seems to be. The dialogue seemed a bit inconsistent to me, switching between dialects. (I’m never a fan of reading spelled out dialect… just let me imagine what the characters sound like without having to translate.) I also felt many of the characters seemed more like caricatures… a bit one dimensional and cliche.
