this was my favourite series ever since i read the forst trc book at twelve. now i’m 19 and i can’t believe it’s done, but i couldn’t imagine a better ending. the book made me cry soooooo much but i think it’s just because i’m so attached to the characters and Maggie’s writing never fails to go straight for my heart. a wonderful story about brotherhood which i could relate to so much.

I have a lot of thoughts but this is still relatively new so I will probably let them simmer, intend to come back for a review and never do.

Love this world and Maggie. This series was up and down for me.

I don’t know how to say goodbye to Ronan Lynch after 7 books.

Dang I’m going to miss these characters

Is she asleep or is she awake? Very good question, I was very tired when I finished Greywaren and it didn't help. I liked it! But also, and this is a spoiler, I was not convinced by the villain of this book and (technically) of this series. In my opinion he was revealed too late and he was too flat. I don't know.
In any case, as always, what Maggie Stiefvater does best is character work and while this novel in itself could have benefited from being a tad longer (or maybe from not having an entire chapter of the same sentence being repeated sixty times), this being the third book in a series and also the seventh in an extended universe, I think I can forgive it for not going as in depth as I would have preferred. It was a nice conclusion, though not necessarily the conclusion I dreamed of (to be fair once the friend group disintegrates any conclusion is a mixed bag for me).
The last thing I will say is that I will never listen to a Will Patton audiobook again, these audiobooks are a crime and should not be experienced. One day I will be rich and famous and buy Scholastic and have new versions made. That's it now, I'm done.

Okay what a wild ride! This was so fast-paced and fun. And suuuuuuch a perfect wrap-up to this series and to the gang. Bawled my eyes out at the end. I just love these characters sooo much. Maggie Stiefvater's writing is so good.

I wasn't obsessed with this trilogy as a whole but these characters will always be so special to me.
