It’s the end of an era!
Finished this audiobook a couple hours before going to see Maggie Stiefvater in St Paul! Maggie was awesome, very entertaining and lovely to talk to.
I’ll definitely need to listen again, I catch so many more details the second time around with these books.
I’m sad it’s over, but what a ride!

i’m so so sad :( genuinely depressed these books are actually over :((( what a wonderful, whimsical series. only reason this isn’t 5 stars is bc the writing really started to pmo in this book/trilogy but goddam those endings really make up for it. i’m so sad there’s not gonna be any more of their adventures but so glad i got into this series. this was exactly what i needed. that being said u really have to love these characters to get thru this trilogy. the epilogue makes this struggling read worth it.

"on the seventh day, the lynch brothers discovered they were friends once more."

please nobody talk to me for the next, like, year while my brain melts and i reevaluate my life because of this book xx

As usual, once I fall in love with a character, pen or world, I am thoroughly unable to be even a little bit objective.

(In all seriousness, I love these characters and I’m sad to see them go. The story itself didn’t do them justice, but that would’ve been nearly impossible anyway.)

MAGGIE U BEAUTIFUL MIND this book changed me I love it sososo much

From the moment I opened the book, I was stressed because I remembered where Mister Impossible ended but now that I've finished Greywaren I want to cry in the best possible way. Maggie Steifvator is a gifted and talented writer and while I wish there is more for the raven boys and Ronan and Adam and the universe I am glad for this. It was so beautiful and makes me want to re-read the trilogy all over again just for this ending

I rated CDTH 2 stars and MI 1 star, so I really didn't have high expectations for this book.

I will say I didn't like it either. But the ending was at least palatable, so 2 extra stars for that.

This book like the others felt contrived and unoriginal. At no point did I find myself interested in what was going on (except, as noted, the end).

The original trilogy was great until the ending. Again, I felt the ending of TRK was contrived and a lot down after all of the buildup. This series never even hooked me with the buildup. I stuck around for the characters, and even then...

I am not saying I won't pick up future books, but I am definitely going to be cautious before I do.

Deep sigh of satisfaction.
