don’t even joke lad.
Unlike most people who read this trilogy, I did not go into with a deep and abiding love for Ronan Lynch. Truthfully, Ronan was always my least favorite of the Raven Boys, but I did love the world, so I was willing to give it a shot. I still don't love Ronan, although I get him more than I did in the original book series. The person I do love is Declan. I am retroactively upset that he's hardly in the Raven Cycle, and that we only saw him as Ronan's irritating brother. He is the best.
As far as a conclusion to the series, it was pretty good. I wanted more from Matthew, and you know I wanted more Declan (his big damn hero scene was possibly the best thing I've read all year). I could have used a bit less Lilliana, and I still am not sure I truly buy into Ronan and Adam as a couple (sorry, internet). This will not replace the Raven Cycle in my affections, mostly, but I will always love this trilogy for giving us Declan. Truly the best.

If you didn’t love this trilogy then you just don’t get Ronan and the brothers Lynch like I do! This one made me cry so hard because I thought Maggie was going to be for real evil and kill off Matthew. Thank goodness she didn’t because after Noah I didn’t trust her! You will adore this trilogy if you loved Ronan and he was your favorite character, you loved Declan and Matthew and wanted to see the Lynch brothers heal, sibling dynamics, or wanted to more lore on dreamers and what powers Ronan held. But when you get into the story you will adore Jordan and Hennessy, Carmen, Byrde, the Lynch family, and getting to see some beautiful Pynch moments 🥹 of course I wish there was more but this story was about the brothers and it was everything I wanted.
