Did not enjoy this one. It feels like it was written by teenagers on Wattpad... Throwing my lilac hair up in a messy bun - tell me you have read that line in a Wattpad story before.
Copious mentions the FMC breasts and how her nipple hardens throughout the book, making it no surprise that a man was involved in writing this book.

because this is my first fantasy i feel like i could definitely read better, but i don't care lol. I love the enemies to lovers! in the beginning the story was quite slow which knocked some points off but once it got picked up i was so hooked. another reason why this isn't a 5 star is because of the use of,"my back arched." Like i'm sorry, why does your back arch when you feel magic...?? anyways pretty good book, lowkey can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Good read!
I thought this was a funny fast paced read. I really liked the world set up in this series and can't wait to explore it more! I love a sarcastic badass heroine and Arianna is exactly that! Ruadan is her dark and mysterious mentor that I can't wait to find out more about! Looking forward to jumping into the rest of the books in the series!

Fun, easy read. I didn't understand a lot of the world but believe the development will continue throughout the series. There was a lot of action and battles, so it was entertaining. I like Arianna. I feel like there is a lot about her we have to learn. The fae in this world are vicious and deadly. I'd really like to know more about the Four Horseman who are mentioned.
