I'm not sure what I was thinking when I finished reading this book the first time, but I was so wrong! I'm so glad I picked this up again and I can finally get to finish the trilogy. Now I understand properly everyone's hype over the book! This is one of my favourites.
My favourite character is katniss
This book was so good, even thought I knew what was going to happen, it was beautifully told and it felt like I was diving into the book for the first time again.
Can't wait to get started on Catching Fire! (:

So my review was accidentally deleted.

After rereading this 12 years after reading it the first time, I'm happy to say I might like this book even more now! There was so much about it I had forgotten and was reminded of.

I didn't remember that Madge existed and that District 12 even had a Mayor! Also, there was virtually zero chemistry between Katniss and Gale. I didn't remember Peeta having game or a backbone either, which was a nice surprise.

Moral of the story is don't let your favorite books get made into movies. They'll get ruined.
