So good. Haven’t read since like middle school so I forgot so much that happens in the book. So excited for catching fire!!! Still thinking of young Coriolanus snow tho……….

4 stars for the nostalgia but the dialogue between Katniss and Peeta is so bad

update: once i got going with this book, i'll admit it was hard to put down. even with the brutality, the story was compelling and left me wanting more. i don't think i'll jump right into the 2nd and 3rd books of the trilogy, but they're definitely on my radar now.

only 50 pages into this but a bit worried it's going to be too gruesome and gory for me...

4.5, I listened to the audiobook and I think the narrator just didn’t fit, which prevented me from getting fully immersed as I would have if I’d read it.
