First two were better, but Christopher Moore is always enjoyable.
His characters are brilliant, but his plot lines is still pretty slim. But I do adore Abby Normal.
The first hour was a recap of the first two books. The rest was interesting, but not as good as the previous ones. A few characters from the author's other books.
'Kayso... seeing that every six paragraphs made me want to hunt down Mr. Moore and beat him with my copy of the book. But eventually Abby's voice grew on me. I found most of the characters in this book to be a lot of fun and to have developed a lot from the first two books. By the end of the book Abby has grown up and I wonder eagerly(and am probably alone in that sentiment) if we are going to see her as a cameo in any of Moore's future titles.
This was probably one of my favorite novels by Christopher Moore.

Christopher Moore is my favorie author and I was disappointed in this book. It had it's entertaining moments, but it was ruined by the character that narrated most of the book. At one point, two other characters remark that the narrator is super annoying. Yes! She is! Why would you use her as a narrator?!?!
OMFG...funny! Vampires run amok. Poignant scenes with Jodi, the cool-skinned, red-headed vampire, and Okata, the aged, widowed Japanese swordsman.
Writers read this for: voice: hilarious dialogue, distinctive character voices — especially Abby Normal, the goth-teen, vampire-rat "fucksox" and "whatnot"
