Twisty and convoluted. Lots of internal monologue. Unsure why the uncle had to have early onset dementia except for the one moment of plot device. Meh.

As a Crime Junkie can I was really excited to read Ashely’s debut novel. I enjoyed watch her take on fiction and enjoyed watching her unravel the plot she made after researching so many cases. I can tell she is still finding her footing in fiction but overall felt it was a fun read and look forward to reading whatever she comes out with next.
