Blown away. This story is only getting better and better. I said this when I reviewed Slay. Laurelin Paige did something I did not think was possible. The more I read in this series the more I am kicking myself for not reading it sooner. Why did I ever doubt Ms. Paige could get me to love and be consumed with the story of a villain. I think Celia was possibly my most hated villain in any story I have ever read. And Laurelin Paige and her words have made her out to be one of my most favorite heroines ever. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST READ!!!!

"I wanted him with a fierceness that I’d never known. Wanted all of him. Wanted his cock buried inside of me. Wanted him shoving against my limp body. Wanted to make him come as savagely as he’d made me come."

Laurelin Paige, you did it again. You freaking made me breathless. You made me swoon every single word. Every single sentence. Every single chapter. You have captured my heart. You have set my soul on fire. With your magnificent words. With your soul powering characters, Slay: Ruin is a brilliant dark tale. My heart and soul was drenched in a sensational story that tore every single morsel inside me. Wow. Laurelin Paige continues to amaze me. How is every book so good every time? How is her writing such a knockout to all my senses? Slay: Ruin will creep into your heart and destroy it. One word at a time.

Slay: Ruin is the second heartstopping continuation into the delectable Slay Quartet. Man, this book ended my life. My gosh, what a rollercoaster. What a smashing book. A book with a heart crippling storyline. A book with so much adrenaline and power coursing through the pages and into my heart, A book with addictive characters that told such beautiful and interesting stories. Emotional. Soul Ripping. Dangerously Titillating. Slay: Ruin is a darkly twisted tale with seductive romance, heart palpitating passion and shocking revelations. Secrets are revealed. Feeling are laid bare. A story of lust vs love. Laurelin Paige made me fall in love with every facet of Ruin. Ruin truly gave a jolt to my heart.

I am so shocked about Celia. In my previous review, I wrote about how much I hated her in the Fixed series. I had no love for Celia. I used to call her Lilith. Haha. Harsh. Laurelin Paige made me love her. Curse you, Laurelin Paige. I absolutely felt sorry for her. She is a broken woman. A very vulnerable lady. Every layer that Laurelin Paige was able to peel gave me a heroine that spoke a story that touched my heart. Edward is still the ruthless businessman and dangerous antihero I adore. I am in love in him lol.

Slay: Ruin truly slayyyed!!!! This series is bloody fantastic!!!!! I can’t wait for what’s in store for Edward and Celia.

Wow, what an intoxicating continuation to Edward and Celia's emotional and provocative story! I was desperate for more after the jaw dropping ending in the first book Rivalry, and Ruin did not disappoint! The power games continue between Edward and Celia. Edward seems to have the upper hand as he holds her on his terms. Celia has a love/hate relationship with what is happening between her and Edward and so do I. It is hard to understand Edwards motives, and actions at times and Celia can't forget the threat to her life! But Celia seems to be getting past his carefully constructed walls and plans. While Edward is also making Celia see a different side to herself, one that is worthy of forgiveness, respect, and love. Their strategic games continue to captivate and seduce me. The heart-pounding revelations, from both their pasts, break my heart, but also helps me to understand them just a little bit more. The attraction and chemistry between Edward and Celia is palpable and leaps right off the page! I love the direction Paige takes them, and us. It is dark, and twisty, and completely riveting! Paige has an amazing ability to make us feel and empathize with the many facets to Edward and Celia. I am so invested in what happens to them next and I can't wait to find out in the third book, Revenge!

This is the second book, so please read book one first. It starts right where the first one left, Slay had an ending that had me on edge until I got Ruin, and it just kept getting better and better, I love the angst and I love how this characters Celia and Edward interact, I am ruined now I need the next one like yesterday, this is so good. A must read top list for sure.

Wow

I have loved every book that I have read by Laurelin Page. When I realised she was writing a book about Celia, my interest wasn't as piqued because she was mean and vindictive and I couldn't see how a story like that would capture me.

Boy was I wrong! I would even go as far to say, that this is quite possibly the best series I have read so far. The thought of waiting for the next book to come out, genuinely fills me with dread.

I was so captivated by the story and wish that it would go on forever, or even be made into a film or tv series.

Reading is my favourite hobby, it's an escape and if that's what you are looking for then these are the books for you.

Thank you Laurelin for sharing your imagination with us and taking us to another world ❤
