I admire that the author used real facts to base the school in the story on.I didn't know any thing about this kind of schools and the book showed me a new point.

Returning to the review itself,
I loved many aspects of the story here. I absolutely loved how the MC was.she had very strong character.I liked how she concurred her fears. The story was a little slower than I thought and that was my only complaint. I liked how the author

represented one of the white as good man . I would have hated the story if she said that all of them were bad

.I loved the other characters especially Gideon and Jackson. I hope they appear more in the next parts of the series.
