Loved this duet. Mafia romance in the middle of a territory war. You definitely don’t expect the plot and twist of this duet.
Layla is the Daughter of Dante’s enemy. But one look at her and Dante falls for her. The story takes you through their relationship and the possibility of them making it work with the territory war going on. She is an inexperienced innocent girl, that quickly learns a lot from this very experienced Dante! This book has spice, plot and suspense for sure. There’s a lot of unexpected situations, the suspense is great and how you can’t put the book down is so worth the read. Hope we see the story of some of this characters in future books.

I had to jump immediately into this book after reading Broken Rules, book 1, and it finishing with THAT CLIFFHANGER!
In book 2 we can see the characters have learned from their past experiences and their love story and now they are a more mature couple. Dante is just everything! He’s a bad guy, powerful, not morally gray I’d say morally dark
