I loved this one!
The writing was beautiful, lyrical, and atmospheric. I really felt like I was in the story and the setting as magical.

The plot had just enough happening to keep it interesting but the focus was really the characters. Lou was definitely a young adult but her journey and growth felt relatable to people of all ages. She was such a likable character even with her naivety and flaws.

Overall one of my favorites this year!
