Sold To The Syndicate is a dark, spicy, mafia romance book. This story follows Lorenzo (Renzo) and Avalie (Ava). Renzo is taking over the family business and when he goes to collect a debt owed, Frank is unable to pay his debt in cash so he offers Renzo something a little different, or should I say someone a little different. Renzo takes Franks offer and takes Ava against her willingness. Ava is a spitfire and fights back verbally and physically but its nothing compared to the Mafia she now belongs to. Things begin to accelerate when Renzo decides Ava is not Botticelli property but rather she belongs to him. This includes issues within the mafia, gripping family secrets, and some super spicy kinks.

Sold to the Syndicate is a spicy romance and the spice starts immediately. It is a dark romance so there are some trigger warnings you want to check before reading. Like most dark romances there may be some kinks or behaviors that some may not be comfortable with reading.

I loved all aspects of this book. Renzo is a steamy MMC, and Ava is a spitfire FMC. The Mafia vibes are there, but I would have liked to have a little more. The spice is there, but I wish there would have been more character/relationship building between the two main characters. This was a quick read. It grabs you attention and has all the factors dark romance readers are looking for, but being a dark romance reader, I craved a little more than this book gave.

My rating: 3.5/5 stars and 4/5 spice level.

I devoured this story in about 4 hours. I could not stop reading once I started it! I thought that the story line was really good, and I can see where it could go on to be a series. The author did a good job of making the characters likeable and not just the mane ones. The spice was exactly what I wanted it to be. There was plenty of it, but it was spaced out just right and wasn’t too over the top. I would give it a rating of 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Mafia. Possessive MMC. Action.

I read this book in no time! Lorenzo (MMC) is so yummy and I loved the dynamic between him and Avalie (FMC). It was inevitable that their tension and angst was bound to crumble and once they came together, it was fireworks. The pacing of the book was well done and kept me cruising through the pages. So many great aspects to this book and I loved them all. Can't wait to read the remaining books in the series.

This book does include some smaller elements of BDSM, but it is not a how to guide. Please seek books specific to BDSM learning to dive deeper into the lifestyle.
