I wanted to like this book because I like [a:Candace Bushnell|4415|Candace Bushnell|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1265302856p2/4415.jpg]'s other books, but I hated the main character. I enjoyed watching her crazy, vapid life fall apart but she did kind of annoy me. If you want an introduction to Candace Bushnell or something more "Sex & the City" like, read one of her other books. I particularly enjoyed "One Fifth" [[book:One Fifth Avenue|2804776].

Delving deeper into the Janey Wilcox character from 4 Blondes (not that deep).

I wish I could give this book less than one star. Bad book. Very bad book. No treat for you.

Awful. This book was terrible and I actually feel less intelligent for reading it.

Now here....here is Candice Bushnell's best writing. It leaps off the page; it's unlike any of her other books and it's simply mesmerizing. Great character development. A must read.

I enjoy her writing and the way she tells a story!
