Ich habe was anderes erwartet (ich dachte es geht wirklich um das Danach und herauszufinden, wie viel die Ehefrau gewusst hat, aber es hat ja während der Ermittlung gespielt), war aber trotzdem offen für die Story. Die Schreibweise hat mir teilweise nicht gefallen, es wirkte manchmal sehr hölzern, insbesondere der Dialog (englische Version gelesen). Das Ende war für mich nicht überraschend, es war klar, dass noch ein Twist kommt und ich fand es relativ hervorsehbar (was nicht unbedingt schlecht ist, man solm ja mitdenken können). Die Grundidee fand ich recht gut, die Umsetzung hat mir nicht so gefallen.

The Serial Killer’s Wife had me at its title and I just knew I was going to be hooked and completely addicted to it right from the get go. I was not wrong! What a thrilling tale this is. Intense, complex, compelling and engrossing are just some words to describe how I feel about it.
As I sit down to write more to this review, I am finding it quite hard as I don’t want to give anything away. It is just one of those books that you need to experience for yourself and go in with just the blurb details.
What I will say is, it is very clever and has been well plotted out, written and executed with a brilliant twist. This book is the whole package and is another perfect example as to why I love this genre so much. All up a very chilling and entertaining read.
