Very fast paced read. I couldn’t stop reading this book. Something shoot Hunter’s writing style just gripped me. But I was let down with the final reveal. Throughout the whole book I was shocked at some of the truths being brought to light, but the major one at the end? Just didn’t quite do it for me. I guess I always thought Beth was off, she seemed so stupid with how she approached everything, and artificial in her emotions. But it made sense. Very much feels like Joe and Love in ‘You’. Tom is quite a scary character, but I liked how his character was developed and shown. Beth however, I don’t know, I guess because we’re in her head more it felt a bit tacky at the end. But I throughly enjoyed reading this regardless. A nice surprise.

Kind of a slow read but picks up in the end with a surprising twist
