3⭐️. I really enjoyed most of this but the ending really threw me 😂 (it also threw dawson. iykyk). I really liked the characters and found the story really heartbreaking but also the ending was almost comical bc it was so weird and felt very out of left field. I don’t think I’ll be keeping this book but I enjoyed the listen!
Timeless
Dawson and Amanda, Tuck and Clara, loves won and lost over time and space. The flower garden at the Cottage expresses in riotous color the true love of these four, but the hatred and envy of the Coles darkens and blights everything.
This novel had too much going on, but I still read to the end. A lot that was written didn't add value to this story and I waited for what was promised and it didn't happen.

This book brought me to tears. A beautiful, bittersweet love story. One I’ll reread.
3.5/5, rounded down to 3 because i really disliked the ending. #dawsoncoledeservedbetter2k16
This was the fourth Sparks novel I read and for the first time I felt some tension, especially with Dawson's neckbeard dumbass cousins and the mysterious figure he kept seeing. That's why I really rushed through this book - until about 30 pages before the end. At that point I realised where the story is heading and lost quite a bit of motivation to finish (I did though nevertheless, but wasn't that enthusiastic about the book anymore).

Spoiler
Dawson was the character I liked best and I don't really care that Amanda kind of ends up with a happy family again. Should have left that drunken ass husband ages ago. I wanted Amanda and Dawson to grow old in that cottage together. Meh.
