Nicholas Sparks is one of my favorite authors. It was a couple chapters before I got into "The Best of Me". By the time I got 3/4ths into it, I couldn't put it down. As always, his books are another great read.

Uhm, I don't know if I liked it or didn't. It wasn't horrible, the plot was amazing and the characters developed a lot through the story but I hated the ending. This was my first Sparks book and maybe not the best.

I have been crying for at least five minutes straight. The movie was definitely better than the book, which is something that I think happens a lot with Sparks. Overall? Happy af .

Maybe I didn’t enjoy this one as much with the ending the way it was. I love this movie so much. I am actually surprised how similar the book and the movie were! I think the movie was somehow more emotional though and that made it better for some reason to me.
