It was cute. The storyline with her brother and his son I could have done without it. Tyler is a typical rich white guy who gets everything he wants Easton is young and beautiful and smart so yea.. it’s what I needed after Onyx Storm but by the end of year I will have completely forgotten that I’ve read this and what it was about

Not my favorite Penelope Douglas novel and you can definitely feel its age, but if you’re looking for a quick somewhat spicy taboo-light romance, give it a go. I did not like the “twist” at the end though. Felt completely unnecessary and dumb.

This is more of a 3.5 than a four. It's another solid read from Douglas and while I liked the interplay between Easton and Tyler, I just didn't find myself as drawn in to either character as in some of her previous books.
