4.13 AVERAGE

Thank you to The Author Agency for the eARC.

4.5 stars.

There’s just something about Aurora Rose Reynold’s brand of instalove romances that I just can’t resist.

Olivia is Bax’s best friend’s little sister…but she’s not so little anymore. I loved the forbidden aspect, the “will they, won’t they” as they both try to resist the other. ARR typically writes super alpha MMCs, and while Bax is definitely overprotective, he kinda sneaks up on you. I loved that he listened to Olivia and subtly tricks her into becoming a couple. I wouldn’t have been able to resist him either.

Until Bax was a good mix of romance and mystery/suspense. I got sucked into the mystery and wondering what would happen next, and I loved that the forced proximity helped get Olivia and Bax to admit their feelings quicker.

There’s only a few more of the second generation left, I’ll be so sad to see this series go!

'Until Bax' was such a lovely read for me. I have adored this series and for me there's a comfort every time Reynolds releases a new Mason tale. I've loved this family and their individual 'Booms'. I know that when the next instalment comes out, I'll purposely not finish the last few pages so I can pretend they never end.

Ms. Reynolds never fails and this one is just one of many that she crushed. Bax Mayson is up to bat. Liam's, Bax's best friend’s little sister is moving back. Olivia Gannon wants to be closer to family. After a bad breakup, she needs a place that she can feel at home. She moves in with her friend, Kourtney, who is a traveling nurse and not at home a lot. Bax, just happens to be Kourtney's next door neighbor. That is just the background. The boom happens right at the beginning. Bax sees Olivia not knowing who she is. She draws him in instantly. Imagine his surprise when he finds out that he knows her and she is actually Liam's little sister. Things get tricky real fast.

Oliva seems to be a magnet for trouble. Bax always seems to be there at the right time to rescue this little spitfire. Unfortunately, Bax's reputation is well known and talked about throughout town. Can Olivia handle the town scrutiny? Her mother even gets in on it. You know Ms. Reynolds is going to give us a mystery along with the boom. Like I said, Olivia is a magnet for trouble and things keep happening. Bax saves the day, but does that mean he will get the girl?

I love a best friend little sister romance and this did not disappoint. I loved Bax and Olivia’s chemistry so much. Bax was everything and more, he just knew he wouldn’t be able to stay away from Olivia. So good!

I may just be in a funk when I read this. I’m a total mood reader and I’m struggling connecting at moment.
