Forbidden love - Student/Professor - Royalty, Socialites, & Politicians - Secret Society - Mixed in some kink & Spice!
HOLY MOLY!!!
Between the mystery or trying to find out who hurt her sister to the romance of Tessa & Saint, this was a very nice spicy dark academia novel to sink into.

An hot, intriguing story with potential
Tessa and Saint are hot as sin together, and there's intrigue abound in this book. I plan to read book 2 to see what happens next, and I hope it was better edited than the first.

The way this whole series took my weekend was amazing! I absolutely loved every single book I was on such a rollercoaster, and I was not ready to get off! For my reviews I will do on each book even though I just want to talk about the whole series.
In Cross My Heart we meet Tessa who is a feisty smart student at Ashford she is from the United States Philadelphia to be exact. She is there to find out who attacked her sister the year before and she is not letting anyone get in her way.
As she is snooping around we meet Mr. Anthony St. Clair aka Saint who is a professor that everyone loves especially the women. He is mysterious and just oozes confidence, Tessa describes him and I quote "The kind of man who knows how to make you moan." And according to the dedication that is exactly what the professor does. All around he likes the banter he is next in line to be a Duke and he doesn't want to so he does his own thing 😉
The spice, chapter 7 🥵🥵🥵🥵 I was wide eyed blushing! Was not expecting that at all! In addition to Oxford Academia there is also a lot of talk about secret society. Just amazing and that cliffhanger had a feeling still was like WTH

Quotes
📚Saint the girl called him. But this guy is a sinner, through and through.
📚Just because I like my romance novels on the spicy side, it doesn't mean this man isn't a smug asshole for talking to me like that in real life. Besides when has a real man ever measured up to the breathless, sexy scenes that fill my Kindle and keep my highlights tool working over time? Precisely Never.
📚Saint and his friends.... They're not like us. It's like all the Greek myths, we're just mere mortals, and they're the gods who come down the mountain to toy with us
