I saw an ad for this book on TikTok so I wasn’t expecting much when I got it on KU, but I really enjoyed this!! The spice was nice and the plot was intriguing. It puts me in mind of Rina Kent’s novels (which is a huge compliment from me, since she was my intro to dark romance). Definitely continuing the series when I get the chance.

It is spicy in certain scenes, but I feel no real connection to the characters and the plot is rather… boring.

This is just a fun romance series. If you like these types of books with some smut and some plot then you’re in the right place. 3 stars to me is a good book, not mind blowing, but not bad by any means. I think it was pretty good and I’ll continue to read the series :)
