Местами просто забавна.
Думаю, в немалой степени это благодаря тому, что написана французом итальянского происхождения про американских гангстеров, естественно, тоже итальянского происхождения, приехавших во Францию.
Рекомендую как легкое чтение для отдыха, а сам обязательно почитаю другие книги этого автора.

It wasn’t that great of a book. I kept hoping the ending was soon. I didn’t care about this family or feel bad about it’s predicament.
audiobook note: Though the story was OK, the real win of this book was introducing me to the silky narration of Edoardo Ballerini. I definitely need to bump Beautiful Ruins up in my listening queue.

This was good for a lighter summer read to break things up between a couple of more intense books. Nothing super deep, but enough to keep me reading.
Okay book that bounces around a bit too much as it tells the story of the family of ex-mafioso living in France with new identities as the family struggle to adopt a normal life.
really good book, its a cross between godfather and scarface, loved the characters and the moms and daughter and mean ass bitches, love it. easy read.
Très très bon simili-thriller. Je dis simili car le plus intéressant dans ce livre n'est pas l'histoire de mafia, mais bien la galerie de personnages, l'humour et les situations insensées.
Seul bémol: je trouve que l'auteur évacue un peu vite la fin, du coup, après s'être attachée aux personnages, on se sent un peu abandonnée sans savoir ce qu'ils vont devenir...
