Extremely compelling...I just had to keep going to find out what happened. I think it all came together in the end a little too quickly and conveniently though. Definitely a book I enjoyed more while reading it than after I had finished it.

The plot twists are good. The book is difficult to get through because everyone is so intensely unlikable.

What? What did I think? Are you kidding me?

On the one hand, the story was so good that the ending felt like the author just gave up due to expending so much energy on the convoluted storyline that she has nothing left for the end. On the other hand, any other ending would have been fake. In that way, the author was brave to end the book in a realistic fashion.

That doesn't mean the ending was satisfying. Only that it was necessary.
