'Standing fur-to-fur, five foxes wailed, and the call sang of the absence that was theirs alone and of all the losses in the world.'
This book was beautiful! I was so emotionally connected to the characters and I LOVED seeing their development, especially the main character.
The ending just put a big smile on my face. The message about dealing with grief and isolation was one of the best parts of the book!
Unforgettable!

This book was fine but we slogged through it. I would say read Pax and leave the Journey Home behind.

It’s a second book to Pax, I don’t think it was entirely necessary but definitely a good read. Pax is a book you can read and not need to read the second book because it’s only continuing the plot, but it’s still a amazing and heartbreaking but also amazing book that you need to read if you want something to cry about.

Is it possible for a book to be more gutting and beautiful than Pax, the first? I could barely breath the last 30 pages. I love Peter now than I did before and I feel so much more complete with Pax's journey than before.
