Im actually shocked. This is my first time not raving about an LB book. I just kinda didnt love any of the characters or the story. Not to say it was bad, i just didnt vibe with it.
That being said, if you DO like tropes such as: best friends sister, fake dating, friends to lovers
Then this is a great book for you and im sure you will enjoy the spicy parts ;)

Lauren Blakely is one of the hardest authors to review. She can deliver the goods, like nobodies business, but it's hard to put into words your thoughts without giving too much away. Most Valuable Playboy is another diamond. Whether you love or hate Cooper, the delight comes from getting inside the mind of a semi reformed playboy. He's cocky, famous and clueless when it comes to women. One in particular blows his mind and runs off with his heart. Violet is everything he desires, but never knew he wanted. Life is about to get interestingly complicated in this laugh out loud, irresistible courtship. Ms. Blakely is always a sure bet for an entertaining read.

Loved it and it only got better as it continued
It’s your standard fake dating romance. I thought it was interesting that it was written in the MMC’s pov. It does have some silly wording that I wasn’t a big fan of. Like for example the FMC’s bedroom being described as a “den of femininity”.

I think this reads like every other sports romance I've read. This admittedly disappointed me because I've loved her books in the past.
