Absolutely hilarious!
The story is told from Cooper's POV. He is the starting quarterback for a San Francisco football team and his monologues are outrageously funny.
He has a reputation as a playboy, but since becoming his team's starting quarterback his priorities are all about focusing on the game and leading his team.
He is saved from being won by an over-amorous woman during a charity auction when his long-time friend Violet (who is also his best friend's sister) uses his own money to be the winning bid. Things snowball and suddenly every one thinks they are dating.
Things get further complicated when they are told to continue to act the part while Cooper's contract is in negotiations.
Problem is, Cooper starts to realise he might be falling for Violet for real.

Okay this was SO cute. 🩷 It was such a fun and easy read while I was dealing with some super not so fun health issues. I’m back and doing a lot better now!
This one kept me company while I rested and it was such a perfect friends to lovers story that had my heart happy. Plus it was told completely from the MMC POV, not something we get often in a Romance book!
