Iris & Ronan were hot hot hot! I’m normally not someone who enjoys rockstar romances but I loved the bodyguard dynamic in this one! I am all about those alpha protective men & that is exactly what Ronan is. When Iris seems to be put into danger it becomes Ronan’s mission to keep her safe! Gaaah the character development & sexual tension between these two were just amazing, I had to fan myself! This is my first book by this author & I was not disappointed! If you like rockstar or bodyguard romances with intense chemistry & protective alpha hole hero’s then this is right up your alley!

Ronen and Iris, love them, love the alpha hole vibe he gave; love that she fought back against him when he tried to force her into protection but her still being realistic when she saw herself in a threatening situation. Loved the spice, loved the twists and loved this couple! Don't think I have anything bad I could say but I wish they had more spicy time.

FMC was so cavalier about her safety, purposely making it hard for the MMC to keep her safe. Truly an unlikeable, petulant character.

I liked the first half of the book and the two main characters. But after 50% i thought it was kinda dead. I thought Iris was a really strong independent character but after a certain point, she just pissed me off. Ronan was trying to do his job as a bodyguard and all she did was complain about being controlled (bc her father did that when she was younger). I’m sorry but he is your BODYGUARD. Obviously he needs to control you because you are a whiny little nob who has no common sense or awareness. You have someone threatening you and breaking into your apartment and you just wanna go stay there and not listen to him when he’s tryna keep you safe

Do not judge me for the cover. I’m a whore for rock star romances I don’t know what you want from me?! The hero was burly and IRISH AND HOT but completely overbearing. Is he perfect for me? No he’s perfect for Iris the sexiest heroine I’ve read in a while. She is who I want to be love her so much. What a good palette cleanser I’m reading the next one now too gtggggg!!

The author killed it with this amazing Rockstar romance that proves just how isolating and exhausting it can be at the top.

Iris is a wonderfully developed character who only wants to live for herself, her fans, and her band. She wants away from all the negative BS in her life. Ronan is the bodyguard hired to protect Iris. Little does he know that protecting her will Gove him a run for his money. What happens when the one who is supposed to be protected doesn't want it??? Read the book to find out more.

Oof. Badass female rockstar meets tough as nails body guard? Yes. Please.

Iris is a total badass, but she is having some privacy issues when her home is broken into and vandalized. When the lead of her record label finds out he requires her to get a body guard. In comes Ronan, the hottie she met at the dog park and stood up when she came home to find her home destroyed.

The heat is on from the beginning and Ronan is having a hard time staying professional, while Iris is having a hard time giving up the reins and allowing someone else be in charge of protecting her.

The heat just turns up at our two main characters can’t fight the pull any longer until they finally catch the people who broke into Iris’ home and Ronan practically begs to be fired so they can jump into something more serious.

But alas! That was not the only threat to our tattooed heroine, when notes and photos start showing up at her home Ronan and Iris butt heads on the best way to keep her safe. They are both prideful and having a hard time coming to a compromise.

The spice is
