Beautiful Nightmare picks up a few weeks after the cliffhanger of Dangerous Temptation with Bianca now in the clutches of the Constantine’s, and Tiernan determined in his resolve that Bianca belongs with, and to, him.
Tiernan, is still a villain but his character progression was beautiful, while he never completely strays from his roots, he does thaw from the cold and cruel monster he was to one capable of tenderness. I adored who he became for, and because of, Bianca and Brando. Bianca’s own character also underwent a beautiful evolution, transitioning from naive and sheltered to a strong, determined and independent woman who should never be underestimated. Giana always writes incredible female characters so the development of Bianca wasn’t surprising but beautiful nonetheless.
Beautiful Nightmare was packed with revenge, grovelling, steam, intensity, action, suspense and heart, with plenty of twists and turns that you don’t see coming. It was an absolute masterpiece that left me craving so much more.
The world that Giana created sucked me in, with her phenomenal writing, world building and character development this was a mesmerising read.
The conclusion to Tiernan and Bianca’s story didn’t meet my expectations, it exceeded them tenfold.

Oh-Em-Gee!! Tiernan has stolen my heart! I hated him at first but he slowly made his way into my heart when he showed his soft vulnerable side that made him human and lovable. Beautiful Nightmare is the gripping and thrilling conclusion to the Dark Dream duet. Tiernan and Bianca show that love can overcome any obstacles. Their chemistry was scorching hot and Bianca was the only one who could calm him. I enjoyed every page of this story and pretty much binged in two days. I was captivated by all the twists and turns and the undertone of dark suspense. This was my first duet by Gianna Darling and I would definitely recommend. But please be warned this features forbidden age gap romance with some dubious consent, heroine is 17 and hero is 32.

BEAUTIFUL NIGHTMARE picks right up where book one left off and gives us a story filled with twists and turns that blew my mind! Tiernan and Bianca's relationship may have been somewhat of a slow burn in Dangerous Temptation but it was an inferno this time around!
"This wasn’t a flash fire. A burst of lust so intense it burned fast and clean. This was a slow burn. A seduction. And I was helpless against the heat."
Tiernan is so dark, broody and dangerous, yet the soft spot he has for Bianca and Brandon just makes you fall hard for this man. Bianca has been a bit sassy, fiesty and a little naive since the first book but she definitely comes into her own while showing Caroline Constantine what she's truly made of and I was absolutely cheering her on!!!

These two were absolute perfection and the family they built together was beautiful. This conclusion was everything I hoped for and more, so if you love a dark, age gap, forbidden love story then I highly recommend you ONE-CLICK now!!

Tiernan, Bianca and Brandon definitely are the showstoppers in this duet. Brandon and Bianca bring out another side to Tiernan that not even he knew existed. All the ice around Tiernan heart starts to melt when these two move into his home. Yet when necessary he shows his mean and heartless side.
Bianca shows the strong, fierce, loyal and definitely grown-up person she is. She knows who she loves and she understands exactly what she needs to do to understand her deceased father even more. Brandon has everyone wrapped around his little fingers!
Dangerous Temptation and Beautiful Nightmare are must-reads!!!
Giana Darling has a way of writing that draws the reader in from the start right to the end! The descriptions of the art pieces make you feel as though are looking directly at it instead of reading about it.

This is the book I’ve been hopelessly waiting for. My plan from the very beginning was to take this book as slowly as I possibly could. I’m glad I did it that way. I knew not if, but when I had the chance to speed read this book, I would feel so disappointed with how quickly it ended. The twists, turns and emotions really kept me on my toes the entire time. This book, and even book one, are books you can read in one sitting with no problem. I really don’t know how Giana Darling does it, but her words are so carefully thought out. And what I mean by that is, you can tell that every single word that she uses in her books was meticulously picked for a very specific reason. She writes in this beautifully lyrical way that just sucks you right into her stories. Overall I really enjoyed this book. The dynamic between the Morellis and the Constantines is so tumultuous and is always ready to be set on fire. I loved getting to know each of the families on a different level. I really think I’d prefer the Morellis or the Constantines, they just hit differently. Tiernan and Bianca are two main characters that I will never forget. They will live rent free in my mind.

Tiernan and Bianca are everything and I would venture to say they are my favorite couple. They are right up there with my man Leo *swoon*. Honestly after book 1 I wasn’t sure how much I was really going to like Tiernan I was already on the verge of writing him off and then we get Beautiful Nightmare and I did a complete 360 and fell head over heels for this sexy man. This story is completely captivating and has you hooked from beginning to end. The growth with both of these characters was amazing and them getting to their HEA was everything I needed. I absolutely love the world that is the Midnight Dynasty and cannot wait to see what comes next. If you love a good age gap dark romance then this baby will be your jam!

I thought this was a great way to end the duet, I loved seeing Brando and Tiernan's relationship carry on in this as well! They were another of my favourite parts!
