Following Dangerous Temptation, it was clear that there would be a lot to look forward to in the conclusion of this thrilling duet.
Bianca really leans into being her own person in this one, taking steps to ensure her independence and establish herself as more than someone's someathing. At the same time, Tiernan (thankfully and sensibly) realizes he needs to fight for Bianca. There's the signature steam and spark that is to be expected when these two are together, and the path to revenge is beautiful and dark indeed.

You will be kept on the edge of your seat dying to know what will happen next. The stakes for Bianca and Tiernan are higher than ever, but that doesn’t stop these two from steaming up the pages.
Once again, I was captivated and utterly swept up in the pages of Bianca and Tiernan’s story. Wild horses couldn’t stop me from finishing this book, even if that meant I would devour this book quickly. I was hooked and had to see how things would play out. All I can say is that Giana Darling does not disappoint.

Let me tell you - I have been WAITING for this book and @gianadarlingauthor did not disappoint. Beautiful Nightmare picks up immediately after the end of Dangerous Temptation, to complete the Dark Dream Duet.
I almost wish I could have read them back-to-back, as I found myself forgetting pieces of the first book that were important in the second.
And still, I loved the plot twists + suspense, the spice (obviously), the found family trope, a redemption arc for Tiernan, and Bianca stepping into her power.
You should pick up this duet if you’re a fan of dark romance, you can’t get enough of age-gap love stories, you like reading about messed up parental relationships, or you think being spanked with a fire poker sounds intriguing.

I feel like this needs a third book. Not that it left off with a cliffhanger, just that it didn't finish some threads.
I still can't get over Bianca's age. Don't get me wrong, I love age gaps, but when they are over say the age of 20. 17 is just so young. I have a 21 yr old and a 17 yr old and I just can't see it.
The twists continue for Caroline and I'm liking it. I can't wait to see her go down. Same with Bryant, but he's just a JackHole, Caroline is a MONSTER. I don't know how her kids can't see it.

What an ending! This book was even better than the first and it was amazing. I loved every single thing that happened in this book and there were two big things that happened that just made me so giddy. Every book I meet a new Morelli or Constantine and it gets harder and harder to decide who I love the best. Tiernan was nothing like I was expecting and he was absolutely stole my heart. He was the black sheep of the family and everything he feels was heartbreaking, but what happens will make you smile. Everything we continue to find out in this world makes it more and more interesting and I just love how complex it all is. What a perfect ending to this duet!
Beautiful Nightmare was a great conclusion to the Dark Dream Duet. I have to be honest and say I was on fence regarding my feelings toward Tiernan. Some of his actions in the first book, Dangerous Temptations, were a bit iffy for me, but I saw the potential. He definitely came through in this book. When he lost Bianca, he knew what she meant to him and he was determined to get her back. He truly was willing to fall to his knees for her. We really get to the knitty gritty of Tiernan, the softer and raw emotions are really showcased especially towards his feelings for Bianca, little Brando, and his own brothers!! Even Bianca, who was already so mature for her years, really came into her own and started to show her claws. She was not the same naive girl who believed everyone at face value. Many battles were drawn, secrets are revealed and they all resulted in the best way possible. I was so happy to see Tiernan and Bianca finally have the family they desperately wanted and needed.
This is an awesome conclusion to the Dark Dream Duett.
If you want an anti-hero with a big heart look no further than Tieran McTieran. I loved his character and how he was portrayed in this novel. This was an action packed book and I really liked where it went and how the characters developed. I love Brando as a character because he is such a sweet boy.

The Gentleman are officially my new favorite found family. Family you find and create is always the best kind. Giana Darling always created the best found families.
Bianca is going to be a powerhouse one day. Her cunning, intellect, and her penchant for being a little dark already has her exacting revenge and making a name for herself at 17. Just imagine her at 27 or 37.

Great conclusion to this duet. It’s no mystery that Giana Darling can write. The characters she created within this world had so much depth to them. They showed so much growth throughout their journey.
When we first meet Tiernan he’s cruel and difficult to love. What we get throughout this book is his soft side, him opening up to love. Him growing as a character to someone you can’t help but love and swoon over. The moments between him and Brando had me smiling. I loved seeing their bond grow. Just as much as seeing the romantic connection between Bianca and Tiernan.
Bianca I’ve instantly loved her from the very begging. The way she stepped up with her brother. The sweetness and strength she shows throughout the story… how could you not love her?
